Subsidized agriculture created flat prices for 25 years in the 1980’s and 1990’s, flooding the world with cheap grain, and the US is going down the same path again. Meanwhile Canadian farmers are expected to compete with next to no subsidies in this system with 30-40% less return than US counterparts. Governments, please stop!! Cut our taxes, stop distributing our tax dollars, and let a free market solve this problem.”
